Sorry ROG, i’m so confused by articles online. Should I be more concerned by trailer weight not exceeding the kerb weight in the manual or the actual weight of the trailer at the time of towing? Kerb weight seems quite a low figure when talking about towing horses rather than caravans? Thanks.

Thank you, need to find a weigh bridge then to work out what the car typically weighs laden. On that basis seems to make more sense to transport and tack / water etc in the car rather than the trailer.

I’m hopefully correctly interpreting my cars towing capacity of 2400 from a GVW of 2475 and GTW of 4875. Trailer is 920 so think can load up to 1480, well under the trailer MAM of 2600. But does kerb weight need to be considered other than using to calculate payload of the car itself? If the...
