I did my trailer test at the start of this year. Max towing weight is 2500kg... my maths tells me that the combined weight of the trailer (1000kg) and horse (600kg) totals 1600kg so that it would be absolutely fine? - am I correct in thinking this or is it more complicated than this?

Not sure if this is the right place... I have an Ifor Williams HB511 - aim to tow one approx. 600kg horse. Is a Hyundai Sante Fe (58 plate) capable of doing so? thanks and sorry if the wrong place!!
