    Broncing mare is backed!

So after a hard few months of owning this horse, and a few comments on here that has made me cry! I thought I'd update everyone who had been following the progress. She had a full vet lameness work up and they only found little issues such as being foot sore on her hinds, under her ideal...

has anyones yard stopped turn out due to the wet?

Last winter I was on a yard where they weren't allowed out if its raining and if its ok they had to be in by 2pm. Now I rent a yard and fields so I can do as I see fit. But the TB is on box rest and her companion is attached to her so won't go out! Normally they're out everyday 8-4

She's a nightmare! Just as I get her out of broncing as soon as a rider is know board, she goes good then decides shell try napping. I couldn't get her out of the yard, reversed up to her stable. Luckily someone was on the yard

From Broncing to Good to Nappy!

Thankyou Klix :-) Im currently on a yard by myself so she has to go alone. I got off her today as a last resort and even I couldn't lead her when normally she's a saint. I dk think she's trying it on so want to nip it in the bud soon. Shall try long reining tomorrow :-)

From Broncing to Good to Nappy!

A few will remember my grey mare broncing, she's had a lameness work up and nothing showed up that would cause the bucking. She's now ridden without a hint of bucking, touch wood. However I moved yards and there is no small routes to hack her (smallest will take over an hour). So thinking the...

Horse backing livery not going well!

Just one more thing, I have never said I cannot afford to have the vet or any other professional to any of my horses, so please do not presume that because I do not want to pay X amount for livery that I cannot afford to pay for medical care for them.

Horse backing livery not going well!

Everyone please continue to scrutinise every word I have said on this forum! The livery where I have kept her costs all in all £90 per week. If you read my opening post on this thread, then you will read that I have found a yard nearby I can keep her in, but obviously some haven't read that...

    Colt in with mares?

I've just been pondering and wondered if colts can cover mares if their bits haven't dropped? So would it be safe to keep a colt with fillies/mares if it hasn't?

Horse backing livery not going well!

She is insured but I will have to ask if shell be covered as I only insured her a couple of weeks ago. I don't have transport for her anymore as the 4x4 decided to stop working. So trying to arrange something
