Would a total contact saddle work? They do synthetic versions. You pad underneath to suit so could avoid the hair & also feels like riding bareback.

I have the mudcontrol mats & really rate them. They've been a lifesaver this year & even with the grass starting to poke through my 4 are still spending lots of time on them. Yes they're expensive (we did an area just short of 20x20m, but I have a very grumpy mare & wanted plenty of space) but...
I can only say what mine is on, & as rob1585 says best chatting to the prescribing vet.
Mine is pollen associated allergies not dust, but she will vary from 1-5mls daily during the season mostly sticking around 2mls. She is lami prone so always aim for the lowest dose i can, however several...
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢
Sadly there is little you can do but give him time. When I suddenly lost my mare, her son was heartbroken despite being with his other 3 herd members, 1 of which he had been turned out with since 5days old, & the other 2 had joined him at 6mths (he was 8yo when she...
When we moved house the pony I'd been helping care for at livery came with us to continue her retirement. She was in her late 30s (think 38) & the journey was over 2hrs. It was the best thing ever for her & she enjoyed several more years bouncing round our fields & baby sitting the 3 youngsters...
We have them & I love the openness to them. When we installed them we had to have the iron work specifically made as the block work wasn't exact & the addition of the triangle between each stable wasn't something available 'off the shelf'. It also meant the bars could be spaced much further...
Mine are out whatever the weather at least all day (they are usually out overnight year round with afternoons stabled). They are all barefoot which helps & the field is only 20m from the stables. Plus they're at home so I can easily keep water & hay topped up. If they didn't go out the gelding...
Thank you for the replies. Like the look of the airmax as she's such a hot horse it could be handy to stop her sweating when the sun decides to make an appearance & I'm at work.
@poiuytrewq Swish do have some 50g liners in stock now, just not the size I need sadly.
On the hunt for a 50g liner (6' or possibly 6'3) does anyone know who makes them? Most seem to start at 100g ?
So far I've got:
Swish Equestrian, but they are preorder for mid-end jan & could really do with it sooner.
Big Horse Shop, but concerned these might be a bit too deep. She is a cob...
The first horse was nodular, no ulceration, just a obvious sphere shaped lump under the skin. The second horse had 1 that was occult & the other started as occult, but became fibroblastic. The fibro is the one that he cut off with his rug.
