I use the Westropp ones with no problems and they only fall down sometimes if he falls over whilst ridden and slides in them a bit. Maybe he has fat knees!
I think h&h is second to none for in depth competition reports and industry news/controveries/opinions, whilst Your Horse is my favourite one aimed at more leisure riders. H&H is weekly which is unusual for a horse magazine so you might find you get more magazines than you'd like to read!
Like many others here I loved The Silver Brumby, Sheltie and The Horses of Half-Moon Ranch when I was a kid. It's nice to see Perfect Ponies get mentioned :)
I still read a fair few even as an adult and I've also really liked Pony Club Secrets, Pony Club rivals and The One Dollar Horse...
I used to always ride my connemara x 3 miles each way from the age of 10-20 to local shows, and sometimes he did showcross. In fact I think it helped take the edge off a bit!!

The aim of the game is for at least one player to guess the card that you put down to match your word/phrase, but not for all of them to guess eg. if all or none of the players guess the card that you put down for the word/phrase then you get no points. You have to be subtle...
I love Dressage Diagrams too! Please note that I think they expire after a while, so I've saved them to my computer (you can print them as a PDF which makes them into a document that you can save) or be sure to save screenshots.
My mum and I went to 9 Quarter Circle with In The Saddle and loved it. There's 2 2 hour rides per day and a couple of all day rides. There was usually a canter or 2 on the rides. We combined with with a few days in Yellowstone National Park. We did love it but it wasn't quite enough riding for...
