    Independent feed advice?

Hi, I was wondering if there is any independent companies you can go to for feed advice? I don’t want to go to a feed company like Saracens etc as they’ll promote their own feed. I just want to know how and what to feed my horse for her specific requirements?

    Livery or own place?

It’s just the time element ? it’s the ONLY thing that’s making me question it all!

    Livery or own place?

I also had a companion when I was at home before and I could not for the life of me find a rider for her ?

    Livery or own place?

another thing I’ve thought about is that I can work from anywhere so I could work from my mums house in the day.

    Livery or own place?

im not looking for liveries for profit- it’s company mainly. I have a well paid job that can support maintenance etc.

    Livery or own place?

Yes this is why I would want a groom. My mum can do basic care if I ever wanted to go away etc. I do work from home but at my own property. I was thinking about maintenance in terms of compressed hours and doing maintenance on a Friday. Alternatively, as mentioned, we have a good relationship...

    Livery or own place?

Hi, I’m in a fortunate position where I have my own land. I have 3 stables, a tack room, electric and water, field shelters and 16 acres. It’s within hacking distance of a school which does clinics (I don’t use one anyway) and hacking distance to off road hacking- I also have the option to hire...

    Bit Advice...

Hi, Wondering what you guys would recommend: - Horse is ridden in a Myler Comfort Snaffle Bit as standard. Hack alone or in small groups with this. - She gets too strong in this when we're in a group and I'm planning on doing alot of fun rides... She also does the same when jumping. - She...

    Legal Advice on neglected horse

Hi Guys, sorry I've not been replying to comments. I just needed time out to calm my emotions down. I'm now thinking rationally. Vet has been, they've advised not to worm just yet but have taken poo samples to do a worm count already. Heart and lungs sound fine so they're not concerned about...

    Legal Advice on neglected horse

She does have gooey eyes at the moment but I expect this is because she's run down. I've got some optrex which I'm going to use to help... or would you just leave them? I've never dealt with this situation before (and I have a tb!)

    Legal Advice on neglected horse

Yes the photo doesn't show the extent. I do have better ones but they wouldn't upload as they were taken on my better phone. I also have a video of a full walk around of her. This is a horse that is supposed to be heavier built. She is a cob x fresian and she looks like a fragile show pony atm...

    Legal Advice on neglected horse

Thank you for all the replies! I've decided to not pursue anything legally and just make sure I share around my local area, keeping the post factual. If I see this girl with another loan, I will track down the owner. In terms of feeding, shes having 3 smaller feeds a day of linseed mash, and...

    Legal Advice on neglected horse

Thank you, its really distressing seeing her like that. I've had this mare for 10 years, shes got me through some really tough times. She means the world to me, so to think that someone thinks its ok to leave her like this and say the reason is laziness has quite rightly, left me infuriated...
