What would you consider a fair livery price, per week, for stable, grazing, feed room, (no door) use of hay barn, toilet, fencing that is cobbled together, and ragwort in the fields. No tack room, no school, only flat field that can be used when weather dry. We do have electric and water...

Anyone know anything to stop horseflies annoying my horse, have tried all the usual fly repellants, nothing works. We suffer really badly at the moment. Is there a best time to ride to avoid them, Ive tried riding on a really windy day in the hope they couldnt fly in it, but to no avail...

Problem is its a companion horse so would need to go off yard!

Does anyone know the position re a loan horse when you cant get in touch with the owner. Loan agreement has expired and circumstances mean that horse needs to be returned. Do I have to advertise to see if anyone comes bac to me. Obviously I cant move him on myself

Most horses are stiffer on one side but does this mean they just wont turn to one side easily or that they actually feel "lumpy" when on the stiff rein. My horse seems to throw me to one side when on his right rein and makes me feel as if Im twisting in the saddle

Horse is 20 and has arthritis in hock and is on bute, also had injection into hock. The vet has said to keep him active. He has had 4 months off and I started bringing him back to work at the beginning of this year doing half an hour on road every other day. Now doing an hour every other day...
