I've just switched from FP Hoof and Skin to trying Equilibra. I may try adding fhe Farriers Aid in addition if needed and trying to reduce ior remove altogether some other bits and bobs Ive been supplementing. Mine is a horse where a balancer makes a huge difference. I really like FP and will...
How strange. I had to call them several times last week due to DPD being idiots and always got through.
I did have an initial issue with Hyperdrug issuing my remaining Cartrophen after evet shut down. All I can say is thank God I had emailed evet when they first shut and they had written me...
Too cute and funny!!
If I've got mine tied outside his stable, I will sometimes unclip, open his stable door, and tell him to "go home". 99% of the time he does by himself. The other 1% he wanders off to another stable (that already has a homeowner that is home) or over to the patch of grass...
I've only ever really had this issue and another time where the delivery man broke onto my property and into my shed to deliver something. When I called DPD to complain they couldn't see anything wrong with it
I started explaining to DPD yesterday why I was getting incredulity angry and the guy kept interrupting me. It got to a point where I yelled at him and continued my story as he still tried to talk over me and then he hung up. My god the words that spilled out of my mouth!!!
So update. Viovet have been great but DPD are horrendous. ordered some Equilibra to try from them last Fri eve. DPD suddenly were to deliver last Sun. Got a message saying nobody was around which was strange so tried Mon. DPD driver took a pic on Mon and said couldn't be left where I instructed...
That's actually a good point. What's now stuck out in my mind was that when BHS contacted me initially about renewing, I had mentioned the above and they didn't even bother to make the point you've raised. I am covered now and will be looking at other options for the future though.
Some of these are really really good lol!
This reminds me I gave my horse 2 months off. Super lame. Assumed he was an idiot in the field because he is. Wasn't getting any better or would sometimes look a bit better and sometimes not. Heat and pulse in foot. Vet looks him over. We both...
funny that this should come up as I let my BHS membership lapse this year (horse was off and for the most part, still is) so didn't see a reason to renew straight away. Will be looking into these as alternatives tbh, particularly as I don't really agree with the "BHS way of doing things"
I liked my Bates but then moved to an Amerigo DJ until I sat in a CWD. CWD doesn't fit horse as well as it should but can say I've never fallen off when riding in it and horse has thrown in some major wobbles (not saddle related). Horse is a chunky TB.
I noticed similar with mine except it's between the bars and wall in the "deepest" part of the foot/sole area if that makes any sense. My theory is that as long as the horse is comfortable, I will go with it.
