    Molasses free hand held treats?

Was thinking of trying this but.....seeing how hard it seems to be to chunk them....maybe using a single brick would work tbh to protect my fingers 🤔

    Molasses free hand held treats?

I do use the global herbs generally (as well as carrots) but they are too small - horse tries to eat my hand already with them...not purposely but would rather not chance my fingers being chomped. Spillers does have molasses and Hilton herbs has alfalfa. 2 things he cant have plus they are also...

    Molasses free hand held treats?

Does anyone have any that they can recommend? I have seen horselyx comes in a small tub but I think they are sugar ladden which is a hard no. Can't use carrots or any other smaller treats as horse cheats on his stretches so this way I can keep him entertained to either hold the stretch and/or...

    Completely lost motivation to ride

I have lost motivation tbh. I thought it was just me but speaking to people more generally, it feels we are all feeling similarly. Over the weekend I found it excruciatingly difficult to motivate myself to get to nornal gym classes let alone the yard. I only went last night because a horse I...

Was your second horse like the first?

My horse's half brother out of the same sire was a mirror image of mine including temperment. It was insane. Outside of that, they are all different

    Anyone else really struggling?

I think wet/dry cycles tend to bring on more abscesses. At least that has been my experience. It has just been wet....no sign of dry in sight atm either 😭😭😭

    Anyone else really struggling?

Durasole is also amazing. Have had more luck with Durasole than hoof armour and is not as finicky. Also Keratex hoof gel can be used everywhere I believe (havent used it in a while so do correct me if I am wrong. Keratex hoof hardener - a different product - cannot be used on the frogs) to help...

    Anyone else really struggling?

I went home during the first covid lockdown so was still very wintry and -10° temps back home. My coat that I brought felt perfectly fine in -10° but does not feel warm enough here at 3-5° here Talking to my mom just now and she has said the last few weeks have been cloudy and bitterly cold...

    Anyone else really struggling?

I can probably count the number of days on one hand that we haven't had rain this year where I am. And I wonder if that's why I am now feeling very "homey" and not even wanting to venture out to the gym let alone the yard these days...

    Lameness after nerve block

agree with others on the bilateral lameness. I take it you didn't do another nerve block to see? I did have this - vet nerve blocked one leg, horse went lame on another; nerve blocked that and horse went lame on a different leg which told us the problem was neuro. Turned out was correct...

Reflective ear bonnets verses breast plate/cover

I have LeMeiux reflective boots on all 4 legs and reflective flex hoof boots gaiters. I also have a reflective and bright breastplate and matching quarter sheet. I have had drivers stop me wondering where I got my boots from as they said they could see me from ages away and lit up even more...
