Thanks guys:) I really didn't know where to look! I'm thinking of doing shows near Perth (ish???) if anyone knows about any upcoming shows near tht area.
Silly question alert!!!
Where would I begin to look for local competitions:confused: I'm interested in dressage but I have never been to a competition!
I think it would be really fun but I totally have no idea where to start looking for competitions so any advice is appreciated:)...
Hi,
What type of horse would you advise for a first horse... some people are telling me that a horse no more than 6 yrs old would be good, others are telling me any type of horse is good.
Help????
This is all sooooo confusing! Any advice is appreciated:)
Just wanted a different opinion... How often should I wear my body protector?
I have been riding for nearly four years and I have only fallen 3 times, I get regular lessons and I ride the school ponies. I dont really use mine much but a friend of mine has had a pretty nasty fall and I just...
lots of the people at my yard wear Toggi and Mark Todd jackets. Try those:)
Personally, I just wear my trespass all weather jacket. It works well because I found that it is breathable but warm at the same time.
I'm wondering, how do you get wet mud off of a pony??
Loads of the horses at my yard are muddy all the time and the mud on them never seems to dry!!! it is sooooo frustrating:mad:
Any replies appreciated!!!
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could give me some schooling tips, I ride a variety of school horses every week. I enjoy schooling but I am getting bored of doing the same things all the time!!!
Something that interests the horse would be good as they often are doing the same thing over and...
Personally, I would just do regular schooling introducing ideas such as half halting and trotting poles.
Another technique I have found that works is trotting, for example, from C to H and then walking to B and trotting to a, then repeating.
Try these!! Good luck:)
