Yes it was us, I think you were behind us at some point in the lesson :D and don't worry I didn't really see what everyone else was doing as a small boy pulling faces in the mirror or trotting his pony as fast as possible took all my concentration (he has a need for speed these days):p
I was...
Hello nikCscott,
My son was in the same lesson as yours yesterday on a little grey pony (with me trying to get him to concentrate and not spend the whole time pulling faces in the arena mirrors which he prefers to do :o )
Glad you had fun, we joined last summer and so far have had good fun...
Hello,
I bought a Bossy Bib last year for our section A who was clipped out as his shoulder was getting rubbed badly:( It really helped and the hair grew back and no more rubs:) It has satin type feel to it so doesn't pull on the hair if the rug moved. They were also inexpensive as I remember.

Hello PR,
Yes you are right I am worried about laminitis as you say (forever worrying), he has never had it (previous owners said he hadn't to their knowledge) but i always worry incase he gets it:(
I will get hold of the farrier and chat to him to see what his opinion is i think as I just...
Hello SJ,
I can't bring him off the grass as no stables available unfortunately hence the grazing muzzle which he has on from 7.30-between 5and 7pm depending.
I think I will cut the feed down to half the recommended amount of Equilibra from now on to see if he copes better:o
Will look...
Hello,
He didn't really do alot before we got him so he got a bit of a shock being worked so much but he can cope with 1/2 hour lunging inc. cantering really well now and even goes forward without me having to chase him on as well:)

Hello all,
I have an 11.2 section A who has become a bit 'footy' when doing road work. If there are grass verges we can use he flies along in trot but seems to struggle on the road and very sensitive about stones.
He doesn't have shoes on and I wondered if the easy boot glove would be an...

Clipped him over the winter and then;
long reined him including up hills
walked/trotted out with me walking the dogs
took him running
lunging
and of course he was...
Hi,
I agree SamanthaG, I tried it as the vet didn't know what it was from so gave him steroids. He tends to spend a few days roaming the fields at a time so thought I would try Camrosa as a more natural treatment and it seems to have worked so far. If it comes back I will get some tests done...
Hello,
Thanks all I will look at Dinky Rugs and HKM, I just wasn't sure is 'pony' size would be still a little too large with his saddle but worth a try I think.
Polypads sound great Faracat, it's just a bit of fun so will sit down and look at the website with my small boy and choose...
Hello Lochpearl,
I have had the same problem with one of my cats from long grass and he was given steroid injections to stop him making him self sore from constantly licking as he was so itchy under his tummy and bald because of it poor thing:(
I wasn't happy doing that so I bought...
