I've not read the whole thread apologies if this has been answered, does anyone know if you can report a riding school which also has a few liveries if: a) the fencing isn't suitable ie barb wire b) the grazing the horses are on is unsafe, its being used to dump building waste from a house...

Posting on behalf of a friend: Wanted - DIY / Part livery in Broadhempston area, or a field in broadhempston to rent. Will consider yard in neighbouring villages.

Can I have opinions on how far you would be prepared to (or do) travel to the right yard in either time or miles. It would be assisted diy so we would only need to go once a day with optional add on extras as and when needed. Thanks all

wow that's good, when my horse had them on his fronts we got 14 days out of them on a good run. We spent ages looking for the pulled shoes in the field as they cost £35 a shoe to replace.

lovely hacking what part of the country are you? Glad you are getting on well having read your previous posts you must have nerves of steel but it shows it pays off if you put the work in. Did you hack out alone?

Had a lesson at http://www.devonriding.co.uk/ in budleigh salterton and really liked it and plan to go back regulary . I've heard good things about http://www.chestonfarm.co.uk/ but haven't been. Am 11 ish stone and 6 foot, I'm not sure what their weight limit's are if any.
