I am thinking of buying a 6 year old gelding who is sound and fit but who has thoroughpins on his hocks. Should I be concerned about these? Or windgalls?

Am I being unrealistic in seeking full livery in Kent for around £75 pw for my retired mare? She has to live in in the winter, needs two feeds a day, mixes well with other horses, mares or geldings.

I have exactly the same situation - two horses to exercise and little spare time. I currently pay an instructor to hack them out once a week - it would be great to have someone ride out with me and even better if they were prepared to help with some of the stable jobs, too!
