Thank you all for your help. I brought him a ball that releases nuts to help with bordem and he has a salt lick that he loves! He no longer eats his own droppings so big thanks from me xxx
My 7yr old horse is on box rest and during the day to allow him to get some fresh air i put him in a small concrete run. When his finished his hay i've noticed him eating his own dried droppings...
Does anybody know why he is doing this and what i could do to stop him...
Thank you. His eight and a half now and he was on metcam but has moved onto prebicox (not sure that the correct spelling). He is in too much pain to go without these pills. I will try out your suggestoins...fingers crossed he has a heart of gold!

I have a German shepaherd who has worked all is life as a loyal police dog. He has always had trouble with his hind legs but now days is more stiff than ever. His not insured and i don't have the money for expensive drugs. Any idea's you wise wise people?

I need to find some cheaper bedding to use and wondered what people thought of these wood pellets? I have some on rubber matting but not all. Most have straw but that has caused a big problem with the size of the muck heap.
Is it cheaper than wood chips? Any tips welcome ;-)
