I actually use Three Counties now.

I've fed Micronised linseed to my two in the winter to help add condition and shine.

I use Advance Complete from Equimins- and vary how much I give them depending on how they are looking.

Have you thought about having him thermal imaged? Have a look at www.veterinary-thermal-imaging.com. I've had my cob's hocks images a few times now, to keep an eye on them, and it's a brilliant service.

Thank you- she's on hay not haylage...but I have heard of haylage causing similar issues. I did put her on a course of probiotics but they smelt awful as it was a real job getting her to eat them! I'll have a look at that though, thank you.
