Hi Snorkey, Have you ever tried to get help from your local BHS Access Officer? It sounds to me as if they may be able to help. You can find who that is by looking at the BHS South website http://www.bhs.org.uk/bhs-in-your-area/south/hampshire.

If you hear of a safe horse that will keep all its feet on the ground, and reasonable in traffic please do let me know as mine are all between 20-30 and creaking like me. Don't bounce like I used to but miss the exercise. Light hacking required.:)

It is not possible to comment on individual cases without knowing the facts but nevertheless I am sorry to hear that you had so little support from the BHS. Just a reminder though, the the BHS is the sum total of its volunteers and they are always looking for more. Perhaps you could help...

Yes but it doesn't stop all the big salaries does it? Also we pay a huge amount of money in council tax each year which the County Council take and then do not do their statutory duties. One law for them and another for us!

Thats interesting. I wonder if there is any way in which we could get an idea of if the majority of Councils were rubbish or not. Surely there must be some ok ones somewhere or perhaps not? I think we need to know but how do we find out? I wonder if BHS would like to put one or two...
