Providing 'stuff' on DIY livery yards

Question for you Dollymix.... If you were a YO (indeed you may be and are asking anyhow!!),...what would you provide??!

Providing 'stuff' on DIY livery yards

As others have said,..it really does depend on the YO and what they would like to provide. Personally, i'd like to hope that they DID provide the toilet paper if there was a toilet there for the liveries to use!! I've been on yards that do both, but have always been happy to bring my own...

    Clicking joints...Advice?

My boy went through this phase while he was maturing (he'll have been around 4 when i first noticed and heard this clicking). He had what i tend to call 'growing pains'!! The clicking (mostly in his fetlock joints) stopped when he was turning 6.

    'Where there's Blame There's a Claim'

Following on from a thread i've just read through.... Why is it that nowadays, if it's not YOUR fault, then it's obviously someone else's and they MUST PAY.. I'm sorry but this attitude that seems to have come about over the last few years of claiming for this that and the other and sueing...

HAY: How much and how long does it last your horse?

Summer Turnout time is overnight for us and in during the day, which my horse comes into a 1kg soaked net of hay. I do have the option of 24/7 during summer, but i want my boy in during the day and off the grass. Winter Turnout time is out during the day for us (8am - 6.30pm ish) and in...

    A 'what if ' question

There are sooo many equines out there nowadays that need 'laminitis/metabolic issues type' friendly yards and very very few that offer the facilities from experience (round my way anyhow!). If that situation came into my lap, i'd seriously think about setting up a yard with the above in mind...

    Borrowing or Stealing?

Well i guess you can put a padlock on your feed bins, but hay is a little more difficult. What a spineless and cowardly way to act if indeed the YO is not acting on this. What a shame for you. Money talks it seems...sadly, and from what you've posted, she's happier to keep 3 paying...
