There is a difference between being with a group of horses and brave enough to go solo. A horse that will go alone and ahead is a rarer thing . I have seen many that won’t go alone. Make sure you see evidence of it hacking away from yard solo xx

I think a lot of horses end up team chasing and hunting cos they have proven to not be cut out for other disciplines. If that is what he loves to do it’s a win for him and at his age I wouldn’t worry about undoing work. 😊

I’d loan him to a team chasing home for a season. He might be the perfect horse for someone in that sphere in the short term, x

It is one hell of a journey from my pair of rising 3 to rising 5 yr olds that has certainly taught me a hell of a lot! Not sure I would have the patience to do it again. I have a renewed enthusiasm for the older horses now! 😆
