First of all i just wanted to know if anyone has gone hacking in the snow? Took my mare for a walk around the feild but the ice and snow just balled up in all of her feet. Is there anything i get put in her feet to stop this a bit?
Its a pain in the back side...but my mare absolutely loves it she was like a child in a playground today..she had great fun..although the ice is a pain and so are the roads and water tapes freezing :@
i have a stroppy temperamental mare so some days she wont give a monkeys about being groomed and other days she will be as agressive as possible to get me off her lol...dont think its just the grooming pretty much like that with everything ..although she does like her neck brushed and scratched...
i had exactly the same problem...my mare was like a girraffe and so flat...took months of having lessons where i was made to do lots of working on circles making her move out crossing her back legs over and moving in moving away from my leg..making her back legs move with the front a bit more...
