Hi all
Can anyone recommend a good (not expensive) transport company? I need to move yards this weekend and my friend has let me down at the last minute.
I don't mind a trailer but it needs to be a biggun cos he's 17 hands. The new yard is only about 5-6 miles away but its not...
Hi all
Does anyone know of any livery yards with vacancies for Assisted DIY/Part Livery? I live in West Byfleet so anywhere relatively local would be good. I have a budget of around £350 per month.
Thanks
Mel
Can anyone recommend a good Part livery yard around the Woking area? Due to my work commitments, I'm struggling to keep my boy on DIY and need some help! I don't need a flashy competition yard as I'm just a happy hacker, but would prefer somewhere reasonably priced, hopefully with a school...
Just to prewarn all the Surrey people, we had about 15 rugs, body protectors, bags of feed and various other bits and bobs stolen on Wednesday night. They had used a bolt cutter to get through the main gate and had broken in to locked sheds but had only taken certain things and left others...

We saw that little girl on her pony too! We must have been there the same time as you!! I've got sunburnt arms as we forgot to pack the sun cream, it was mega hot huh? Shopping was fab though.. and lots of nice friendly people there too
My horse got really bad rubs while wearing overeach boots in the field. Maybe try the soft neoprene ones you can get from Premier Equine. As hadfos said, keep an eye out for rubs and mud and dirt on the boots when you take them off.
Was having a discussion with one of the other liveries today and the subject of potatoes came up (random I know!). I was adamant that potato peelings shouldn't be fed to horses, but she thought they could.
Can anyone tell me which of us is right?
Ta
Hmm not sure if this is normal...
The only time when my horse went lame after shoeing was when he had nail bind (nail was pricking the white line).
Is you horse lame or just "off"?
