I got mine tested and the reading was about 80. Tree was on our property so decided to have it cut down. Such a relief now it’s gone. Had spent years picking up seeds and seedlings and avoiding grazing certain areas at certain tones.
My understanding is that a few days of below zero temperatures is the risk. I tend to hay on frosty mornings just in case. Horse got lami for first time last winter due to prolonged sub zero temperatures. Vet saw 15 cases in a couple of days.
My horse has 2 small ones and wondering what to do about them. They are fairly small and warty and not causing him any trouble. Vet has suggested laser surgery but don't want to put him through that if not necessary. Concerned about the wounds healing afterwards. One in particular appears to be...
My brother in law lives near Barcelona. It is very built up and property is fairly expensive. Most people live in flats. That said we did have a great riding holiday in forests about 60 miles north of Barcelona. Think you would need to live quite far from the city to get land. Trains are good...

It's sunset that gets a bit later. Sunrise actually gets a bit later for a few days yet. I look up sunrise/sunset timetables to try and make me feel better!
I find the short days hard but at least it has been fairly dry up to now so not too bad. Horses are out all the time and mainly only manage to ride at weekends. Hopefully Jan and Feb won't be too bad. At least we start to get more light towards end of Jan.

I have one which is marked N/M but it seems wider than this and may have been widened. It fitted a Welsh cob. I am in Scotland though so maybe too far for you to try.
