Bit experts. .. is there such a bit?

I had problems with a previous mare in that she was strong jumping and out but different in the school, I'm afraid I don't have any bit suggestions but it may be easier to school in one bit and jump and hack in another!

Where to look for a competition (dressage) share?

It does take time to find a good share, when I was younger before having my own it took months and months and various shares to find the right one! I find preloved, horsemart and equine adverts. It's also worth putting up a wanted ad as well as responding to adverts as I was contacted by people...

In hand Showing with youngster- turnout question

It would be more correct with a chain but at local shows they won't mind!! I'm sure they will be very accomodatinh, I see plenty of people with incorrect tack at local shows and apart from hunter classes ive never seen a great deal made of it! It's better to be comfortable and confident with her...

    need advice on training!!

Her owner would ride her maybe twice a month that is it, she has just conserved fitness well. And I know most will not agree with twice a day but my trainer worked for lipica in Slovenia and has worked GP horses in Germany so I trust her!

    Exercises to encourage extension/lengthening?

I've been taught two ways along the years and both worked well it depends on the horse. One: really concentrate on collecting in your corners and then pushing him as hard as you can down the long side. Eventually he will begin to expect to go faster down the long side. Now you can focus on...

    need advice on training!!

She's being worked twice a day as she is extremely fit still, my instructor who has worked across the world said she is capable of twice a day. And it's not intense schooling. She is working long and low nicely already however circles and serpentines are a challange due to her being so weak on...

Having a bit of a tongue issue...

I had a similar problem with my mare but she would keep putting her tongue above the bit which would then ruin all chance of a contact! My advice would be to try a bit with tongue pressure and then one without tongue pressure and get someone to watch you on the ground. You may find the tongue...
