Please don't put your 16hh TB in a ford transit, they are built for ponies and not for horse's. They are only built to take 3.5 tonne, it would be dangerous and you would struggle up hill's. Plus if you got pulled over by VOSA you would then be in trouble, as you would be over the laden weight.

but even if you use a ragfork you leave bits of roots still in the ground to then re-grow! You will end up with it all growing back again.

Just read your post, i had a massive problem with ragwort last year and i found out that as long as one of the active ingredients is Glyphosate it will kill it. But you have to wait a while till it has killed it completely, it dose go brown and crispy but eventually it completely goes.
