I have a 9 year old dog jack russell (castrated) and a 9 month old Labrador dog (uncastrated).
A couple of months ago the jack russell occasionally started to wee up the dog feed bins which are kept in the boot room. I have used a enzymatic cleaner each time to clear it up. As the weeks have...
I've converted the site of an old tennis court into an all weather turnout area. As the drainage was all ready in place I put a sand and rubber chip surface on top of the porous Tarmac. The horses have no other turnout at this time of the year (on clay) so I felt it was important to have a...
I've got a couple of these for my path to the yard and they do the job nicely!

I have the Olympias in white for competing and think they are very comfy ! Only down side as others have said is that they come up very small so I had to go up a size :)
Hi, my gelding has both Crannagh Hero and Clover Hill as grand sires too. His sire is Gerrys Clover though :)
My boy is generally laid back but can be quite quirky when ridden. He's lovely to be around and handle, very much a people horse. He also has an amazing effortless jump and loves...
There's Hillside Farm in Coolham, which is great for kids, as they are very encouraging and have clear rounds in between classes. The last time I went the jumping was in an arena and the warm up on grass but this may of changed as was a long time ago since I last went !
I stand to be corrected if wrong, but I think the difference in each bale is more than likely the type of grass used.
My haylage supplier always asks if I want 'rocket fuel' or 'non rocket fuel' bales before he loads up the truck for delivery :-D Rocket fuel bales being Rye grass and non...

My horses have them on over night in the summer and seem to work well :)
I've just put down sand and rubber on my new arena. I had it on my last arena where it was used daily by 4 or 5 horses (jumping, flat work and lungeing) and we never had a day where it couldn't be used, so I stuck with what I know works !
I looked at fibre initially for new arena but as its in...
not an app as such, but how about an audio download ?
I have found these are quite good at giving you new ideas to try and cater for a range of abilities and levels. You just download onto your iPod and listen whilst riding: http://iridetraining.co.uk
Thanks everyone 😀 my initial thought was to keep it at C end but just thought would see what everyone else would do !
Good thought about some sort of marker on the fence to show the A line, will have a look on eBay for something suitable and visible 😀
I've very lucky in that I've just had a 20x60 arena built and finished yesterday (just need some rain to bed it in!)
I have got letters for a 20x60 set out however I also have a different set of letters for a 20x40.
My question is: where would you put the 20x40 markers ? I.e do you centre...
