I think that Harry Meade was amazing considering his elbows were shattered and he was almost at the point of not being able to get back to the level he is at....and always nice to see such a open competition where it could be anyone's victory!!

I think it was such a brilliant Badminton.....course as it used to be years ago when Frank Weldon designed it. Hate to see any horses falling (especially at the old sunken road complex, the double of logs) but very refreshing to see in the top 10 a host of riders who are always knocking on the...

But will all the stud fees for his amazing stallions such as Authorized, Exceed and Excel and Dubawi ( to name but a few..) be affected? How are we to know they weren't being pumped full of banned substances when they won their races ie The Derby....?

Michael Jung is such a professional (I mean they all are obviously!!) but he's seems so polished, competes at top level in SJ and dressage and his horse is brilliant in all 3 phases....amazing to watch.

Well the rivalry of those two, makes Badminton a nail biting finish....who will win or will the brilliant Michael Jung take the top spot?

Well Andrew and Wiggy (then Fox-Pitt) got together when she was still married to William. Not surprised William was slightly unimpressed. I so hope he wipes the floor today and wins....much more of a gent than Andrew.

I think the photo of Jo is amazing as it shows what a fine horse woman she was - in perfect balance with her horse, her horse doing a huge leap and real confidence between the two and a lovely sunny day. I saw the fence yesterday as i keep my horse at the yard and hats off to her jumping it...

I keep my horse at the farm where it was held and regularly ride round the course - it was at a tyre fence, so straightforward but it just takes a leg to be left behind by the horse to unbalance it and an awful fall happens. The most tragic awful thing ever to happen and something you never...
