I’ve always had phenomenal service from Aquamax. Paul has in the past made personal calls to keep me up to date on order progress. It’s more expensive but lasts a lot longer so for me works out cheaper overall.
The sceptic in me thought similar!
To me the grammar etc on their Facebook posts is off putting - it doesn’t come across as professional with typos, etc. That being said, a lady at ours has/had one of their bridles and likes it, although I’ve not had a close look at it - but she does know the...
I don’t put neck rugs on mine unless I absolutely have to, and then they come off at night. Mine lose more mane when they are too hot under their rugs as well.
My 540kg section D gets 4kg overnight if net goes in late (8pm ish), more if it’s going in earlier. She’s a good do-er on decent grass, out from approx 8-4.
Able to be 24/7 in summer, although most bring in through the day. In winter it's in at night, horses must be in by 5.30pm which is new this year after some taking the Michael in recent years. We do keep them in if heavy rain forecast all day to save the fields as we need them to last. (I work...
I’d be sending a message to all DIYs saying, regretfully, the Yard is changing to full livery only and to take this as their one month’s notice if not wanting full livery. They may stay but you get paid for what you do for the then, and have more control over their turnout.
Certainly not my cup of tea... but then I’m one who would look hideous in it.
How times have changed... I remember that tv show - Only Fools On Horses - and one of the judges laid into one of the female celebs who jumped with her hair loose, saying how in our sport we take care to look neat...
I leave turnouts on overnight, they dry off better and then I’m not putting a cold clammy rug on in the morning. However if they were in 24/7 then to me you can’t beat Weatherbeeta for quality & fit, particularly for mine who both have enormous shoulders which means Horseware rugs (for...
I believe Snuggy Hoods said they would not be exhibiting at HOYS this year due to the rise in cost for trade stands... is this a sign of where these big shows are headed? You certainly do not get the deals and offers you used to now.
Monthly direct debit, and then on the rare occasion extras are used he will email you what you owe and again you pay by bank transfer. All super easy and don't really need to think about it.
I feel your pain... G has eaten holes in at least three of the rather expensive, super small holed, trickle nets. She has very dextrous lips, but when you put the net in the first thing she does is open her mouth as wide as possible and bite it.
