    Clip a heart or play boy bunny into your horse's bum! Total animal abuse but if you're planning on clipping it out soon you could have it for a week or so just for a laugh. I'd diss-own you at a show for doing that!

    I regularly leave horse in fly rug with fleece overnight when stables as it saves me time when I turn out in the morning, ie. only have to whip the fleece off instead of putting on the fly rug with all its fiddley straps etc! short answer - yes, it'll be fine

    Is he spooking at specific things? You might be able to build his confidence through ground work as you have been doing on the lunge. You've already said things have been getting better through your work with him so there's nothing to say things wont continue to improve. Easier said that done...
