Has anyone seen this before? Massively inflamed gums

It looks very much like my old JRT Tillys epulis. She had it removed at 10 but it came back and was quite large. Fitzpatricks soft tissue hospital removed it along with 4 teeth and a piece of jawbone to prevent recurrence 2nd time. I was horrified and refused to do it at first but they showed...

16 Yo Trotter with spinal injury

You don't really have a diagnosis. Neck injury and muscle tightness with uncoordinated behind could mean a mild problem or a catastrophic injury. For me he's had a hard life and he's in pain. Why wouldn't you want to bute him. 16 isn't ancient but it's not young. His joints are likely older in...

    Using a chifney

Another who found a chifney invaluable as a small woman with a big young horse. He always knew it was there so it never actually came into play. Daughter used it as when he was lit up he would go up and box with his front legs when she first got him. I was very scared of this even though it was...

    New lameness after jumping

One of ours finished sound after eventing but was visibly lame the following morning. Nothing to see on examination. Turned out to be a medial collateral ligament injury. Adrenaline from competing probably covered the lameness the day of competing. I'd definitely be proceeding with caution and...

Very bored, thinking of glue on nails

I've used Candy Claws. The sticky pads are good. I use the extra short ones and they look great. Last a few days so I put them on before going somewhere special. No damage on removal. I tried with the glue and they lasted 10 days but the glue left residue so back to sticky pads. I fancy trying...

Yet another delightful rider..... not..... when will this end?

So excuse my lack of total understanding but a horse is competing against vetinary advice and the owners wishes? Which horse and rider? Sorry if I missed the obvious which I sometimes do on FB.
