Norwich has some excellent schools and depending on the type of school your son requires there are so many opportunities in the city and inclusive clubs.
Check out Norfolk All Things Horsey Facebook page for stables.
Looking for some sports boots biggest fit possible - brushing boots are not covering bottom of fetlocks and he's knocked a chunk out so wanted to try these.
I've tried on Premier Equine XL but they're too small and don't seal up so surface seeps in.
Had some Roma boots but also gappy. Might...
Pig oil is just a light mineral oil - you'd be better off with Kevin Bacon hoof dressing - it's thick and gunky but always put the lid back on as dogs love it!
Yes they do! My horse has them if he gets a flair up - they were prescribed by vet. Now I dose him whenever he gets a reaction and keep packs handy.
Rather alarming dose - apparently they do not absorb them well.
1 box of 28 tabs Chlorphenamine Maleate 4mg twice a day for 3 - 4 days...
Presently my friesian is just getting over something similar. He started off with general warm lumpiness which developed scabs and lots of scurf - covered head, neck, girth, loins between legs - nearly everywhere!
Vet prescribed steroid jab, lots of antihistamines (buy one get one free at the...
I think 'Norfolk all things Horsey' is the best place to find sharers - Whitehouse farm have working Livery - search on Google I don't think they're far from you. If I could I would use High Ash Farm - but wrong side of Norwich for me.
Best of luck - you can msg me if you feel a bit lost!:)...
Rachael Chandler is a great teacher - happy to ride or teach from the ground, plus McTimothy therapist for horses. She's based in Norwich, but travels around, check out Facebook - she has her horses at 'Oxnead Equestrian' which has a lovely new outdoor school with jumps.:)
Not sure where Clare is, but I had a very cross horse dentist who was due to visit me after attending a yard near Diss - as he left an owner stopped him and told him of a case of strangles on the yard. Naturally he was furious as he could have unwittingly spread a highly infectious disease...
Thanks for the advice - I think I'll go with the Westropp ones and a pair of jefferies. Those of you who have hit the ground what wound cream did you find the best? I'm using Green gel at the mo to stop fly contamination.
Here's a pic morning of the day after.
We went skidding along the tarmac today - not really sure what happened, but have a horse with grazed knees. Joint fluid intact and wounds flushed and clean. He's had bute tonight after long cold hosing session - guess he's going to be very stiff tomorrow. :-(
I've scanned the web looking at...
Hi - I'm looking for some help to track down soft rubber velcro over reach boots in XXL to use on hind feet.
This is due to brushing behind on the coronet band.
I don't want any thing too bulky as they might trip him up or a sausage boot!
I thought some Shires ones would be perfect in...
High Ash is amazing - I think there is a waiting list for stables, but they might have grass livery stables. I'd be there if I lived closer - great tracks to ride and well managed grassland.
