Smithies Bridge, bottom of Sawley Brow between Clitheroe & Gisburn on the A59 have grass gallops but not sure if they're open all year round

I don't normally comment as I've nothing to compete on at the mo, current horse is 27! But at some point in the future, it would be something I would consider, if I got a youngster, but, as it stands at the moment, I just couldn't justify the costs involved.

Was chatting to one of the organisers a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that the insurance costs are virtually the same for any event, no matter what class there are running, apparently BE...
Crowwood, Osbaldeston, Northcote, Croft Top, Myerscough, Barton all hire out, but it might depend if you want a course of jumps in too, Crowwood tends not to have jumps up indoor :)
Not going but yes, a new warm up arena has been built so you no longer use the old indoor and stand in the corridor, you get to it off the main car park just to the side of the big double doors at the bottom and it seems to work a lot better, hope you have a good day :)
The weather has been good since Tues night/Wed morning, warm and sunny and according to their FB page the going is good, there are a couple of pic's if you want to have a look. I would normally have been to help but I've just not had chance due to work so not been able to walk the course yet...
