I was thinking of doing a full clip minus the head and legs.....if this happens this weekend will this affect her summer coat?

Am not sure whether to clip my horse or not, she hasnt been clipped yet this winter but I am working her more and she is getting sweaty quickly.....also with all the mud around I am constantly getting clumps of mud out of her up to her belly! What to do? If i do clip I wont be taking it right...
