So how many have horses than have won first in a 5* event, won at dressage and won at a major showing championship under saddle and in hand ?
MY Cob did, he also hunted and would jump a 5 bar gate.

Well any thing is better than oil dripping all over the floor:D Plus all that froth and foam stuff used to make me mad. too much oil makes the leather stretch and go so soft it takes the top surface off. Plus I like to keep my white breeches white.

Don't post much on here, but I do hate tack cleaning. hate dripping oil on the wood floor.
Hate it when the tack gets wet and slippery too. Also find soap froth looks horrid in the holes and around the buckles.
So when I spotted these posts just had to agree with people who use Grandprix...
As I said earlier, my stirrup leathers and the field headcollars get plastered in mud. I dump them in the sink and wash them. The first time I did this and just used GPLG on them after a quick wipe dry, I thought they would come out stiff and horrid, but they came out nicer than the ones I use...
As I have never had much money, I did very well with my lights :D I used to go down to tyre and battery sales, they went through all the old ones and picked out not too heavy ones with most length of life left.

i bought a cheap one in the shape of a V from ride a way as all the extra long ones were too short :confused:
It was a sensible price and not too fancy, just enough bling for British Dressage ;)
