    Unbelievable! :(

If you can't get volunteers, I reckon it's best to pay a small amount to make sure the event runs. I'm guessing that most venues charge for the use of their facilities

Anyone going to East Anglia Horse Show next Sunday?

Which tradestand? I'm tradestand coordinator - hope you have a good show. 70 stands there!

    Camping at Burghley?

Can also recommend Tallington lakes. We go there with the caravan as the facilities are better and also very close to Burghley house

Atrial fibrillation in performance horses: more common?

HCM and HOCM are the same genetic disorder but have slightly different phenotypes (asymmetrical hypertrophy v asymmetrical hypertrophy with obstruction). The gene is autosomal dominant with partial penetrance. Do horses have a marked sinus arrhythmia? My dogs do and I did have a little panic...

Atrial fibrillation in performance horses: more common?

"Equine cardiology actually differs Quite a bit from human cardiology" Thankfully! What are the major differences in the physiology?

Atrial fibrillation in performance horses: more common?

Just for the record. You can have AF with a slow ventricular rate without medication (you can also have AF with a regular ventricular rate).

Do vets keep a record of telephone conversations?

But they remain the vet's notes about your animal and are his / her property. They may write a report based on those notes, for which they will be paid, they also have the right to decline to comment on them.

Do vets keep a record of telephone conversations?

Aren't they the vet's notes about you and not "your notes". As such, why do you think you should have access to them?

Follow on from: Were you ever that drunk...

Serge, great name! I'm sure that Serge would have spat, profusely, at them if he wasn't happy. However, he looked unperturbed photos but not a wise thing to do (speaks an ex rugby player who has learnt the hard way)

    MoJo Wristbands and Patches...amazed!

Have stapled a mojo to a point 2, doubly miraculous!

What would you consider an Ex-racehorse to be?

I like the phrase "off the track", it more or less says what they are. I also think owning an OTT ex-racer is somethhing to be proud of (yes, I am biased!)

    Jump poles. Paint

Try using an aluminium based primer. Marvelous stuff!

    What's going on at Houghton?

Ps it was vile today! The forecast for tomorrow is good and not a cloud in the sky (15 miles from Houghton)

    What's going on at Houghton?

Dry now, steady wind and sandy soil. Fine for tomorrow so come along, great course, a good variety of tradestands and a fantastic setting. The going will be good and car parks fine

Ideas for safe portable homemade jumps?

I'm Lolo's dad, I promise I used post-crete and she didn't have to wait for it to set. Alternatively, buy a set of wings and use them as a template. There's not a lot of carpentry skills needed
