Yes I have just done that :) I just thought perhaps someone might have some ideas on here. It is designed to be used with pads and I wondered whether someone might have some suggestions if they too have experience using this treeless saddle.... I think il just wait to hear back from the company!!

It doesnt sound like anybody here is familiar with Solution saddles.... never mind... I am after some constructive advice from someone that is familiar with these saddles.

Can The Solution saddle be used on any horse? The Solution saddle is designed to be used with balance pads to ensure optimum fit and even contact without spinal pressure. It is this unique feature that means one Solution saddle can be fitted to any type of horse.

The saddle does fit. I use the Solution dorsal pad, shoulder shims and back riser and it sits correctly on him. With Solution saddles its not a case of it not fitting, it can potentially fit any horse thats the whole point! I was more interested in hearing of any breast plates or girths...

That's helpful so you think if I just fed a mix like calm and condition there is no need to mix it with anything? Because that would reduce the calorific intake per feed... Hmmm makes sense. Thank you.

Ps just one other thing... I noticed on another frum that rice bran is great for weight building with skinny horses... I have no idea what that looks like, how you feed it or where you buy it from?!? If anyone has any info would be very much appreciated!!

Ok they are helpful suggestions, well he is normally worked more but I've held off so as not to lose more condition. He seems well in himself just looks like a different horse in comparison to how he looked in the summer/autumn. He's not highly strung so could prob manage on a mote of a build up...
