Thanks for that. Clarity seems quite expensive though, or is it just that everything seems that way at the moment?? Anyone got any other favourites?

    which respiratory supplement?

Hi all, Now that winter is here and the horses are stuck indoors again, I have noticed that my girl often coughs a bit when I start riding. I guess due to lack of fresh and stables being dusty. I was thinking I could get her a respiratory supplement to see if that helps at all. There's so much...

    Legal help anyone please?

THanks for that link. So if we lost it and paid up straight away then I would not need to tick the box on websites that says "have you ever had a CCJ against you"? The reason I'm worried is that my fixed rate mortgage ends in 2 months and I need a new one!! We have an estimate letter, and a...

    Legal help anyone please?

Hi all, I am hoping someone here is legally trained and may be able to tell me where I stand in a situation. its not related to horses, but to money... 2 years ago I bought my house. THe solitcitor invoiced us, we paid it. 7 months later, he sent a letter, which basically said "oops, I got my...

    Tex Gamble

I have seen him work. He didn't manage to fix the horse, it ultimately turned out to be a leg issue which was not his domain. However, he did 'fix' my friends mum, and she was impressed. It isn't the nicest thing to watch though, seems quite violent.

Help looking for a good yard in Bristol Area

hi Celine, What you need is called 'Full Livery' here. That means that they will muck out the stable, feed, hay, water, turn out in the field and groom for you. Some yards may also ride the horse for you if you need it. It is quite expensive though, you will be looking at £300 per month...

    people needing occasional help?

Thanks, but cirencester is a bit of a trek for me. It would take me an hour to get there after work, if not more in the rushhour traffic. I'm not in Sorcy, have done a couple of their things when I was a younger, but I never had a trailer with my horses so couldn't really join.

    people needing occasional help?

Thats exactly the sort of thing I need! I have done it several times in the past, for people who needed company, or mostly for people who just needed a hand a couple of days a week. It just seems that with the cost of horse ownership rising a lot of people are looking for share arrangements...

    people needing occasional help?

Hi all, I am generally a lurker here, but felt the need to post today. I have now been horseless for just over a year, and am missing it terribly. The problem is, I can't afford a horse on full livery, and I don't have the time for a DIY. I just about managed with my last horse, but work and...

How quickly did you guys get over selling your horse?

I had to sell my mare when I went to uni 8 years ago. New owners divorced and moved without telling us and we lot touch. Couldnt trace her. I still wonder what happened to her. I still dream about her several times a week, and I don't think I'll feel the same way about another horse ever. She...
