Have you tried blackfaulds farm? Behind the fort, I went to view when I was looking for livery. Sure it was 140 a month for diy, outdoor school with rubber crumb and can have horse out 24/7 all year if you wanted x

Hi thanks motherofchickens! I managed to find some os maps online of the Strathaven area and I can see how to get up the forest and the kype reservoir.
Think I'll take a drive up and check out what the tracks are like on foot :-)

I have used google maps and can see that there is a forest up by high kype road way but have no idea how to get access and if there would be suitable tracks though it for the horses?
Also know of the whitelees wind farm but...
Well my first thought was tannoch stables but then I thought they were £40 a week for grass livery and you didn't get use of a stable?
Plus could be a yard anywhere in Scotland lol so had no idea where! ;-)
Hi yeah I moved him last weekend! Was a bit worried as the other 3 horses didn't seem to accept him first few days but they're all fine now. He seems to really enjoy the set up as there is loads for him to see and do. There's an area with bark down and he has been enjoying a roll there. Then...
He has done the horses on my new yard but they're all barefoot whereas my horse is shod in front. Plus he has flat feet and is an ex racer so im nervous of changing from current farrier. :(
