I've got really skinny legs so it was impossible to get a pair of wellies that were a snug fit.
When I worked in Australia the mucker outer guy has these things that pulled tight on his legs above his boots and covered the tops of his boots so nothing got in. Wish id asked what they were!
Do you have a link to the gaiters you're thinking of?
I do have welly warmers I could use when it's not so mild. Could also put on my waterproof trousers again when it's not so warm.

I've got a big 17.3hh warmblood with a big chest and I've got a Kincade hunting breastplate on him in X-full that fits great. It was cheap and still looks like new after 3 years of daily use and barely ever cleaned! :)

I can easily get an IBC. My fiance has straps that he uses for his flatbed that I can use. How would I safely strap it down in a double Ifor? Partition out? In the middle?
