Unfortunatly not much is known about grass sickness, other than that it may be caused by disturbance of the ground (our paddock had not been touched though) mechanical poo picked (we dont use this)... Unfortunatly the results came back and were positive for acute grass sickness. During the biopsy the vets looked at his intestines and they were quite fully blocked. Paddy was kept comfortable, and was taken for a walk and a graze before being put to sleep. Thank you everyone for support...
