My hay barn doors are on the NE side of the barn, wind was from WNW. Doors bolted shut but the wind managed to open them without damaging them. How!?
MrPF mumbled something about aeroplanes and lift.
Everything ok here. The garden cupboard I keep some horse washing stuff in blew over (despite being bolted to the wall... the bolts sheared off 😬) and the hay barn doors blew open but somehow are undamaged.. but everything else looks fine. Horses very happy in the barn.
The only casualty here...
Went to bed with a forecast that didn't look too bad. Better, in fact, than most places. Woken up to lots of noise outside and a red weather warning in place. 😬 Ponies are in the barn because we have power lines over the field... but I do worry about the roof. 🫣 Fingers crossed, eh? I reckon...
Personal fave advice so far is to bin him and start over. 🤣 Unfortunately, I'm not sure the bin men will get here this week, through the drifts. If I put him in the bin now he might start to smell before they collect him.
I mean the snowballs, not Henry generally. 😆 There's nothing to be done about Henry generally!!!
It took ten minutes under a warm shower to de-ice him and the snow is around for the rest of the week! He doesn't like jumpers and doesn't have one that fits properly anyway. Any thoughts?

Well if it can be mistaken for mange or ringworm then maybe it isn't the ear margin thing. Cos it's literally nothing. Just a few teeny bits of clumped hair on his ear margins.
