    sorry what I meant is that the owner is a very well educated person and would know if her horse had laminitis. He has lost quite a bit of weight since he has been muzzled and he is only out grazing for 12 hours a day anyway

    Thank you all for your suggestions, I have looked into EGUS but this is literally the only symptom that he is showing... he is a very good doer too! It seems to be a reoccurring problem in the summer months - he just gets super lazy. He is not sensitive around the girth or flanks area at all...
