I looked at these at burghley (specifically the work bridle) and thought the leather was butter soft but would be intrigued on how it stands up to daily use. I quite liked the look of the reins too particularly as they are one of the few that came in cob size. Just wish they did fancy stitch...

They do them with the fleece lining too. The backs are young horse so BS approved.
i’ve used and abused mine since Olympia and they wash really well
hadn’t thought to try the base layers. I’ll definitely have a look. Luckily there’s a tack shop near me that stocks them so I can see if they fit my head shape!
