    Rearing when hacking out alone

Hello, so my horse has always had separation anxiety and has never liked hacking out by himself. When I first got him 4 years ago he would just whinny and jog all the way but as he settled in on my farm at home and got used to my hacking routes he got much better. I have recently moved him to a...

What class can I show my horse in?

So I wanted to know what classes my horse would be eligible for if I took him showing, he's 11 years old bay 15.2 and his passport just says Irish cob. How much hay should I feed my horse overnight?

I currently give him a large greedy feeder net with small holes but there is always some left in the morning and he isn't losing weight so I'm guessing it's too much! And I live on a farm and just use the hay we produce ourselves so don't have much choice on that front! 😕

    Itchy legs with scabs?

My sisters horse has very itchy legs with lots of scabs all over them, if you watch her in the field she will find anything she can and will reverse up to it and start itching her legs. If you try and touch the scabs she doesn't like it and will try and stop you, we have hibiscrubed them and put...

Happy hoof vs chaff with supplement?

I own a 15.2 good doer that is in light work and has been living off grass and hay for the last few years, however his hoof wall has started to come away recently and my blacksmith recommended getting him a supplement and just putting it with a handful of chaff. However I was then told to just...
