Thanks folks!
Plan after my current riding horse retires it to finally pursue my absolute dream of having a mini to show....and was thinking of good ways to transport that doesn't necessarily have to be a full blown trailer as it would be for 1 mini ?
Hiya
Has anyone ever used devil's relief for an arthritic older horse??
Someone had mentioned trying it for my big old cob but was interested to hear if anyone else had tried it?
Thanks ?
Their wide calf should fit my big legs ?? it's whether the ones they have in stock are actually the wide ones or not ? wasn't sure if 'full' was just a term for wide or something else
Anyone have any experience with these boots, specifically how wide they stretch out too....need a pair of not too expensive boots for winter riding and these are adjustable but just don't know how adjustable....
Other recommendations appreciated....on a very tight budget x
Great to read through everyone's thoughts on these pads ? definitely thinking of investing in one if I decide to take the big guy on properly, my one though is how I get on if I have to get off on a hack ?
Hi everyone,
does anyone use a Christ Lammfelle Bareback pad??
I often see them and they just look so comfortable... I may soon have the opportunity to rehome a lovely horse I’ve ridden for years, a gentle old guy who will just be pottering on hacks, nothing interesting and never anything...
I’m looking to do this with my cob in 2020, especially because we don’t have transport so are limited to what we can go to...my concern filming wise is that our school is indoor so can’t quite figure out how hubby will stand at c and be able to film the whole arena....
also this is really bad...
Defo getting the vet up this week to see her, I’ll get her rugged up tonight too hopefully that will help warm up get joints a little. I’ll keep the bute going as well until the vet gets a plan in place.
I hate to think about her getting older and stiffer...I suppose realistically every year...
Hey all,
My old highland has arthritis and is really struggling in these absolutely freezing temps....it’s the first year she’s genuinely struggled
She’s 22, fully retired due to old suspensory injury and her arthritis. She currently living out 24/7 unrugged (she hates rugs) she wasn’t...
