I am sure there are pros and cons and all horses are different so why try and force your own opinions on other owners who have happy horses. From my point of view there is only one question for barefoot fanatics - where do you put the studs?

We have a yard in Samlesbury with spaces available. 20 x 40m floodlit all weather - new. All year round turn out, good hacking, horsewalker. More of a private yard but we do part and full livery. Part starts at £50 per week for part £85 for full.

We offer part livery for £50/week but every one just wants DIY even with cost of fuel. I thought this was cheap for making one trip a day to the yard. Any thoughts on this as im not sure if i am on the wrong track or just need to advertise more
