    Chunky legs and half chaps

    I gave up trying to get the correct size online and spent ages in my local tack shop trying different brands and sizes. finally found a perfect fit in a MEDIUM when xxl in other brands din't even meet round my leg. Will check the brand tomorrow but think they were requisite.

    I tried wet hay and apple juice in his water last night, wouldn't touch the hay although the apple juice has been a bit of a sucess. He is definately brighter today even showing an interest when we were fixing fences this morning. Fingers crossed he keeps improving:)

    The wee man was ok as I checked on him through the night - drinking a little and pooing. At the 6am check I noticed that he had not drunk much more water from the 3am check and he didn't want his breakfast. Have turned them out with hay nets tied to the gates and filled all outside water...
