    Thanks everyone, I think I will try the plastic bag as he is not at all worried about the whip! I do tend to move around when I am lunging...for when I get that far�� It is a lot easier with one who just isn’t so quiet...then they do say the quiet ones are the ones to watch!

    I have a welsh section a just under 12hh, 6 years gelding and a very capable 5 year old daughter. He is a smashing pony and hasn't failed to amaze us all summer doing working hunter, showing ,xc, pc etc. The only problem is he is lazy....if she wants to jump a course of jumps she is kicking into...

    He wants her out and to be honest her breathing is better when she is out. I had a rug on her when it was raining but she sweated a lot so took it off ...last night i was caught out....I had checked on her a few times through the night,she had been eating away. She did have an open sided hay...

    She had been on steroids injected into the muscle twice daily,as things improved a lesser dose orally. She is still on antibiotics and also had antibiotics tubed straight into her lungs last week Vet not sure of cause, possibly started as an allergy or fromchoke? I am feeling more positive now...
