In a couple of comments she's written on one of her own posts, the co-owner sharing the videos has stated that the horse was not sedated...

I think adrenaline could mask the problem at a comp. This is on the other owners knowingly putting a sore/lame horse forward to compete...

Trouble is a vetting really is just the horse on the day. In a buzzy, busy, noisy show environment it might move very differently.
