what makes a perfect working hunter pony??

hi Rara_2009 i am on the junior relay team and i have been practasing for that and i suppose just pulling him in jump offs and whilst practasing for that

hi he is a tb/quater horse ha isnt really strong schooling as i use a myler ful cheek but jumping and xc he can be strong and puts his head down and in and sometimes leans . i use a normal bridle with a flash attachment im not sure about mouth conformation?? and im not currntly having lessons...

thanks cathy do you no of any bit experts? and i no it needs time to heal but its the show season agaiin

thanks but he hasnt shown any discomfort i only realised when i picked a thorn out of his lip is there anything i can put on it and i dont want 2 resort to hakamores as hes a show pony

i am using a 3ring copper mix lozenge gag on my pony but it has given him bruises is there anything i can do or put on it to help it heal? also i want to do working hunter on him he is 14.2hh what bits can i use and also what can i use for riding club ode's and he can be strong :S
