Thank you for your replys. Have found out its an "instant gag". It goes over the poll and through the bit not a second rein.

Hi all, My pony is currently ridden in a Waterford 3 ring Dutch gag. I find he really likes the bit, which results in him buying on it too much and over bending. He used to bomb off so this bit was very good at stopping him and leaning. I'm looking at getting a new but and any recommendations...

Was wondering if anyone could me? Back in march my pony had a fall while jumping and was (short striding) lame on his off hind leg. After a few days rest he was fine and back to normal ever since, (jumping and all). He has always been slighlty better on the left rein but prefers cantering on...
