Absolutely true that it is ILLEGAL for ANYONE other than a vet or the owner of the horse to administer ANY type of medication or therapy to any horse. The only time it is legal is if the vet has either referred the horse to a qualified practitioner or if the owner has asked the vet's permission...

I think what Skylady meant was that Wood Fibre arenas are actually very beneficial in that they provide cushioning. It is not 'deep' and the horse bounces off the top which is far better for tendons etc. Another benefit is this is a totally biodegradeable product which does not leak toxins...
