Maybe I’m getting softer as I get older, but to see somebody win where the picture all week has been one of harmony, making it look easy (though we all know it’s not!!) not having to over ride or look like they’re chasing their horse. Just a team working together so beautifully and not appearing...

That’s the feeling I get. Also, when I think back to the horses of my childhood that I watched and would dream of. It makes me smile to think of the young kids today having Walter as their ‘famous horse’.

Very emotional watching this interview and the discussion about Caroline. To have come to such a tough event while grieving a close friend and mentor and to deliver a winning performance. Utter class and the genuine feeling shown during the post win interview, beautiful 🥲
